Companies Act 2006

As of the 1st January 2007, the companies act 2006 requires all public and private companies and limited companies to display certain information on all electronic communications.

Not only should the company name appear clearly; the place of registration, the company registration number and the address of the registered office also need to be displayed.

Any electronic communication; including websites, emails, order forms,down-loadable newsletters and newsletters MUST carry these details. In the case of websites, they don't have to appear on every page of the website, but must appear fully at least once - the contacts page or home page would be ideal.

The Department of Trade and Industry carries full details on its website, click here to link to the information.

troubleshoot your technical
problems quickly while you watch.

It’s like having a support
representative right by your side,
no matter where you are and
when you need help.

It’s totally secure. Once the session has ended, the engineer will not have access to your systems.
